A Leading Role for CLOA Members
CLOA is the only Association established to exclusively represent senior strategic leaders managing public sector cultural, tourism and sport services.
CLOA members are at the cutting edge of the culture, sport and tourism agenda. They stimulate and manage innovative projects, pilot studies and research in areas that are delivering these broader social goals. CLOA is helping to ensure that all of these new areas of competence feed into cultural policy development and that members, and the wider industry, are fully equipped to deliver real outcomes in this increasingly more complex arena.
Full Membership of CLOA is open to all strategic leaders working directly in the public sector environment, and who hold direct cross-sector managerial responsibility for a range of culture and leisure services. There are also membership categories for associate and commercial members.
As a member of CLOA you will have the opportunity to influence new developments and their impact on your organisation and working environment.
CLOA works closely with central government and key national organisations to influence the development of national policies and to lobby for positive change. It is also a founder and leading member of the National Culture Forum.
