More for Less
If that demand is a familiar one in your local authority, then you could benefit from attending one of three free seminars being held on Strategic Solutions for Leisure Facility Provision.
Run by Sport England, the sessions will be examining solutions to some of the issues facing sport and leisure services, such as:
- Alternatives to service reduction and the closure of leisure facilities in the face of increased financial pressures
- Ways to reduce 30% from your revenue and capital costs – without compromising services
- How strategic leisure facility rationalisation can safeguard sports provision and services.
This is a great opportunity for senior local authority staff to discuss the challenges facing councils as well as proven solutions to some of those issues. The seminars are designed to help you make strategic choices about the shape and direction of your service.
Speakers will include local authority Chief Executives and Directors as well as senior figures from major leisure operators.
The sessions will include:
- The launch of Affordable 25m Community Pools, a new guide to low-cost capital and operational solutions for swimming
- Best practice in Leisure Contracts, including lessons learned from the recent National Sports Centres procurement
- Case Studies of major success stories in the sector from a client and operator perspective.
