Members meetings are scheduled quarterly but do rely on CLOA members volunteering assistance with venue, programme etc.
We are currently looking to organise an open executive meeting to which all members will be invited on the afternoon of the 22nd September 2010 at Leisure Industry Week, at the National Exhibition Centre - Birmingham.
There will be a members' meeting at the Pavilion Birmingham City University on Friday 26th November 2010. The programme will focus on changing policies and in particular the efficacy of free use of culture and sport services.
Finally there will be a members' meeting in or near Oxford in the new year 2011.
Members' Meeting and AGM 2010
The Old Town Hall, Stratford was the venue for the AGM 2010 and a members' meeting focusing on the opportunities and challenges of 2012. The members' meeting was followed by a fascinating tour of the Olympic Park, the highlight of which was the enthusiasm of volunteer tour guide Sarah: If this is an example of the 'soft legacy', 2012 will be well worth it.

Presentations from the meeting are available here:
NCF and Improvement: Richard Hunt NCF and Improvement: Richard Hunt
'Hoof': The equestrian legacy: Dennis Bell
Skills for 2012: Stephen Studd, Skills Active
Notes of the AGM 2010 are available here .
