Members meetings are scheduled quarterly but do rely on CLOA members volunteering assistance with venue, programme etc.  Following the highly successful members meeting in Wigan in June 2009, which included dialogue with the Secretary of State for Health, Andy Burnham, we are now looking for a meeting in New Year 2010  in East London based on preparations for 2012.  Following this we are hoping for a meeting with the AGM in Leeds in June 2010. Finally we are planning an "audience with" Ed Vaizey, again hopefully in the New Year at Arts Council, England's HQ.

 

The CLOA Executive meets every other month.

CLOA is a member of the National Culture Forum (NCF) and provides policy and administrative support.  Working closely with DCMS, LGA and the NDPBs, the main role of NCF is to co-ordinate action by all of the institutes and associations in our sector and to lobby on behalf of the sector. 

Membership of NCF is by invitation only.
