An important role for the CLOA Executive Committee is to identify, often in association with strategic partners such as LGG, DCMS and the sector NDPBs, a programme of key issues for the sector. Some are in response to consultation exercises, and some are more pro-active in response to agenda identified by members.
We have a set of Panels to take on this work where appropriate, and members are welcome to apply to join any of the panels and working groups where they have an interest and something to contribute. The Panels and Groups meet only rarely, most of the work being done by email and, increasingly, using Linked In.
